Uh, unfortunately said paper is lost to the ages. Any attempt to Google Kanye West+Genius results in a pile of information so vast that trying to find anything specific from five years ago is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Assuming that the needle is hypothetical and the haystack is the undiscovered vastness of the universe. However, luckily for me all I need to do is click refresh every five minutes and some new nugget of comedy gold turns up. This is the quote that I like the best
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen," he announced. "All barber shops, fashion designers, architects, corner stores, Wall Street, all over the world: Y'all acting like this ain't the most beautiful woman of all time! I'm talkin', like, arguably of human existence -- the top 10 of human existence."

The phrase "I think" could have completely negated any criticism of this quote. Of course he would THINK that. We all think that the person we love is the (insert subjective platitude here) of the world, that's why we are with them. But to me to claim that the following is not just an exercise in extreme effusion, its also a sign of total ignorance. Here is a list of things that are inferred from this statement:
-He knows the relative pulchritude of every woman who lives or has ever lived throughout human history.
-He clearly deserves this person and is married to them.
-My (totally hypothetical) girlfriend or your (potentially real) partner just doesn't stack up.
It seems wrong to make a claim like this because it says nothing beyond the fact that he is married to someone he considers the "most beautiful woman in human history". It takes something that he appreciates about another person and makes the statement entirely about him. Its the most ignorant thing I have heard in quite some time.
I think I've made my point and I don't really feel the need to explain this point further. I may be reading too much into this and anyone who feels that way can certainly let me know. We are all entitled to our opinions, as long as we make it clear that "I know I'm wrong, but this is something that I believe anyway". And there's nothing wrong with that at all. Its pretty much everyone's free pass to add "I think" and say whatever bullshit we think because its important to us. For context, I would totally claim that Jennifer Lawrence is much more attractive than Kim Kardashian, and she looks like this sometimes:
Thats the shit right there.
